We may collect publicly available job postings from company websites and career pages. These job listings are used to help users discover opportunities and do not contain private applicant information.

Other users may provide information about you when they invite you to Uncover, request an introduction, send you a message, recommend you, refer you, or interact with your profile.

3. Profile Visibility

Uncover is a professional networking platform. Some information you add to your profile may be visible to other users so they can discover you, decide whether to connect, request introductions, message you, or invite you to relevant opportunities.

Do not add information to your profile that you do not want other users to see.

Messages are not publicly visible, but they may be accessible to Uncover where necessary to operate the service, investigate safety issues, respond to support requests, comply with law, or prevent abuse.

5. Jobs and Opportunities

Uncover helps users discover jobs and career opportunities. We may use your profile, preferences, location, skills, interests, and activity to recommend relevant jobs and professional opportunities.

If you choose to apply to a job, contact a company, request an introduction, or share your profile with another user or company, the information you choose to share may be visible to the recipient.

6. Events and Meetings

Uncover may offer online meetings, introductions, and in-person group events. If you join or request to join an event, we may use your profile information, preferences, and location to organize the event and recommend relevant people to meet.

Event-related information may be shared with event hosts, attendees, or partners where necessary to operate the event.

7. Location Information

We may collect your location if you provide it directly, such as by adding your city or country to your profile. We may also infer an approximate location from your IP address.

If the app requests access to your device location, we will use that location only with your permission and only for features such as recommending nearby people, events, jobs, or opportunities. You can disable location access through your device settings.

If Uncover asks for access to your contacts, we will only access them with your permission. Contacts may be used to help you find people you know, invite contacts, prevent duplicate invitations, or improve introductions.

You can revoke contact access through your device settings. We do not sell your contacts.

If the app requests access to your camera or photo library, we will only access them with your permission. You can change these permissions through your device settings.

In general, we keep your account information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize personal information associated with your account, unless we need to retain certain information for legal, safety, fraud prevention, accounting, or legitimate business reasons.

If account deletion is available inside the app, you can also delete your account from your account settings.

When your account is deleted, your profile will no longer be visible to other users. Some information may remain where necessary for legal compliance, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, backup retention, or where it has been shared with others as part of the service, such as messages or event participation records.
