Natixis in Portugal is currently seeking a motivated and skilled COBOL Mainframe Developer (French Speaker) to join its BPCE SI (Solutions Informatiques) team. The ideal candidate should have a senior background in COBOL development within the banking sector and be proficient in both French and English.

Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications in compliance with business requirements.Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather and define requirements.Perform code reviews, debugging, and testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.Utilize Pacbase tools to enhance application performance and functionality.Document technical specifications and processes for ongoing maintenance and future development.Provide support and troubleshooting for existing applications and systems.Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends related to COBOL and mainframe development.Mentor junior developers as needed and share best practices.
