What You’ll AccomplishProduce high quality, full-custom, mixed-signal integrated circuit layoutsContribute to the development of innovative IC designsWork across all levels of the design from base cells to chip top-levelCollaborate closely with designers to understand specific circuit requirementsDeliver DRC/LVS clean layout within project schedulesImplement designs on a variety of fabrication processes
Requirements
The 3 Most Critical Attributes We’ll Use to Compare Candidates1. IC layout experience across all levels of the design hierarchy2. Flexibility to adapt and learn new tools and processes3. Ability to take ownership of large-scale layout blocksMust-have SkillsMinimum of 5 years experience of IC LayoutProficient with CAD layout toolsDeep understanding of technologiesCompetent with device matching techniques and routing of sensitive signalsExperience of floor-planning and chip assemblyAbility to independently interpret DRC and LVS resultsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to work as part of a team and collaborate with people in different functionsGood written and verbal communication skillsBachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or related field, or equivalent experienceNice-to-have SkillsFamiliarisation with auto-routing/physical implementation toolsExperience with layout of high-voltage devicesAbility to use scripting languages (Python, Perl, SKILL)Please feel encouraged to apply even if you don't match all the requirements of our job description.
