Mechanical Shift In-Charge – DRI

- Lead mechanical maintenance activities during the assigned shift. * Supervise maintenance teams and coordinate daily maintenance activities. * Troubleshoot mechanical equipment failures and implement corrective actions. * Execute preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance activities. * Support plant shutdowns, start-ups, and commissioning activities. * Maintain the reliability of critical DRI plant equipment. * Coordinate spare parts and maintenance activities through SAP/CMMS. * Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.
Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with 12–15 years of relevant experience; OR Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 15–18 years of relevant experience. * Hands-on experience in Gas-Based DRI Plants is required. * Experience with MIDREX or HYL/ENERGIRON/HYL ZR technology is highly preferred. * Strong experience with DRI mechanical equipment such as reactors, compressors, water systems, PGH, and HBI machines. * Strong preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance experience. * Experience with plant shutdowns and cold/hot commissioning. * Knowledge of SAP/CMMS. * Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and decision-making skills. * Good English communication skills.
