We are expanding our UAV engineering capabilities and are looking for a skilled UAV Engineer to join our team. You will work on advanced unmanned aerial systems, contributing to flight control, navigation, and system integration across a range of cutting-edge platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and tune flight control algorithms (PI/PID controllers)
  • Develop and optimize state estimation systems (e.g., EKF-based sensor fusion)
  • Integrate and customize autopilot stacks (PX4, ArduPilot, Betaflight)
  • Work with radio communication systems for control and telemetry
  • Perform system-level testing, validation, and flight testing
  • Collaborate across hardware, embedded, and systems engineering teams

Must-Have Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of control systems (PI, PID tuning and stability analysis)
  • Solid experience with state estimation, particularly Extended Kalman Filters (EKF)
  • Hands-on experience with at least one modern autopilot architecture (PX4, ArduPilot, or Betaflight)
  • Knowledge of radio communication systems (e.g., RF links, telemetry, protocols)
  • Proficiency in C/C++ and/or Python
  • Good understanding of sensor systems (IMU, GNSS, barometer, magnetometer)

Nice-to-Have

  • Practical, hands-on experience building or flying drones/UAVs
  • Experience with simulation environments (e.g., Gazebo, SITL)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems and real-time constraints
  • Understanding of aerodynamics and flight mechanics
  • Experience with ROS/ROS2 or similar robotics frameworks

What We Offer

  • Work on cutting-edge UAV technologies across multiple domains
  • Opportunity to contribute to real-world, high-impact systems
  • Flexible working location: Copenhagen or Kaunas
  • A highly skilled, engineering-driven team environment
  • Competitive compensation based on experience

If you are passionate about UAV systems and want to work at the intersection of control theory, robotics, and real-world flight systems, we would like to hear from you.
