Position: Sales Development Representative Location: Alpharetta, GA Remote Status: On-Site Job Id: 167 # of Openings: 2 Position Description Position: Sales Development Representative Department: Revenue Growth Location: Alpharetta, GA Reports to: Manager, Sales Development Job Scope and Accountabilities: Kahua is a fast-growing technology company that builds software for organizations managing complex construction projects and capital programs. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be one of the first people a prospective customer meets. You will research strategic accounts, open relevant conversations, qualify need, nurture interest, and create pipeline for the sales team. You will learn enterprise technology sales by working closely with Account Executives, Marketing, and the rest of Kahua's revenue organization. This role rewards preparation, curiosity, consistency, judgment, performance, and improvement. Key Responsibilities: Create and Qualify Pipeline Research accounts, industries, market signals, and decision-makers before you reach out. Prospect by phone, email, LinkedIn, marketing programs, and events. Engage project managers, operational leaders, and executives with relevance. Ask questions that surface priorities, stakeholders, timing, and fit. Turn research and inbound interest into qualified meetings. Flag qualification gaps and account risks early, before the team invests time. Nurture and Develop Accounts Follow up on time and with relevance across long buying cycles. Use customer stories, industry insight, and events as reasons to re-engage. Build relationships across multiple contacts and buying roles. Partner with Account Executives on account strategy and risk. Make clean handoffs, then stay accountable for follow-through. Own Your Performance Work a daily prospecting rhythm and hit your activity and pipeline goals. Learn how your inputs drive results, then use the data to adjust. Manage high volume without losing the details. Keep activity, qualification, and next steps current in Salesforce. Own your territory and your results. Learn and Improve Learn Kahua's platform, customers, and the problems our software solves. Get up to speed fast on new markets and buyer personas. Listen to calls, seek feedback, apply coaching, show improvement. Put modern sales technology, data, and AI tools to work. Share what works, what you see in the market, and what you learn. Customer-facing work requiring communication, objection handling, relationship building, and timely follow-up. Relevant experience may include customer-facing work, athletics, military service, leadership, operations, entrepreneurship, or other environments requiring preparation, persistence, communication, and measurable performance. Roles where you can point to quantified results: rankings, revenue contribution, growth, productivity gains, or other outcomes. Experience in B2B SaaS, enterprise software, construction technology, or other complex enterprise sales helps, but it is not the only path to success. Experience with Salesforce or another CRM platform and modern prospecting tools is preferred, though your ability and willingness to learn new technology quickly matters more.
