- Prepare accurate quantity take-offs for lighting, power, data, and other electrical systems.
- Develop detailed project cost estimates using Microsoft Excel, including materials, labour, and subcontractor pricing.
- Prepare competitive tenders and professional client-ready bid submissions.
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors via email to obtain competitive pricing for electrical, civil works, and other trade packages.
- Attend site inspections when required to support the estimating process.
- Assist in developing project budgets and preliminary schedules.
- Participate in client discussions during the tender process and support successful negotiations.
- Maintain accurate records of estimates, supplier quotations, project correspondence, and tender documentation.
- Use SimPro (or similar software) to support project tracking and documentation.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve estimating processes and contribute to business growth.
- Work autonomously while collaborating effectively with the wider project team.
