Compensation range: $2000 AUD - $2500 AUD / Monthly

Work Schedule: Full-time, shift-based role coordinated with the Bangkok OCC team; Shift patterns will be coordinated across time zones to ensure seamless 24/7 coverage (typically 8 to 12 hour shifts); Locations flexible: remote from home or from company's offices in Manila, Cebu, or Clark

Who The Client Is:
Our client is a specialist aviation ground services and hospitality provider operating across Southeast Asia and the wider Asia-Pacific region. Their work includes coordinating airport services, operational logistics, permits, and ground support for private aviation, VIP movements, government flights, cargo operations, and other specialized aviation activities.
Role Overview:
You will join the OCC team as an Aviation Operations Coordinator, working shifts alongside the existing Bangkok-based team to provide round-the-clock operational coverage. This role is the nerve centre of the business: coordinating flight handling, managing real-time communication with airports, clients, and ground teams, and solving problems as the arise. You will work with a global client base across multiple time zones, handling everything from routine turnarounds to complex contingencies involving weather, mechanical issues, permit delays, and VIP schedule changes.
This role is ideal for someone with aviation operations experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex operational challenges, and remains calm under pressure. You'll be trusted to make informed decisions, manage multiple moving parts simultaneously, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate ground handling, permits, and airport services for non-scheduled flights across the company’s network
- Monitor live flight operations and proactively identify and resolve issues including delays, diversions, weather disruptions, and customs or immigration complications
- Communicate directly with clients, airport authorities, ground handling agents, crew, and immigration and customs officials
- Prepare and deliver clear written and verbal shift handovers, accurately summarising ongoing flights, operational issues, and outstanding tasks to ensure continuity and zero gaps in operational coverage.
- Deliver diplomatic, solutions-oriented communication to clients, particularly when conveying schedule changes or operational disruptions
- Coordinate crew services including hotel bookings, ground transportation, and catering arrangements
- Prepare and process overflight and landing permit applications across multiple jurisdictions
- Maintain accurate operational records and update internal systems in real time
- Work collaboratively with the Bangkok OCC team across rotating shifts to maintain 24/7 coverage
