Job Role: AI Marketing Operations Specialist

Compensation range: $2,000 AUD - $2,800 AUD / Monthly

Engagement type: Independent Contractor Agreement

Work Schedule: This role is expected to align with the AU business hours (approx. 9 AM - 5 PM, 4 hours a day, Monday to Friday) for collaboration, but as a contractor, you’ll have flexibility in how you manage your time.

Who We Are: At Hunt St, we help Australian companies hire top remote talent in the Philippines. For this role, you will be formally employed through an Employer of Record (EOR) arrangement. We are not an outsourcing agency. All of our roles are 100% remote, so you’ll be able to work from home.

Who The Client Is: The company serves as the central operations and support function for a group of established businesses operating across multiple professional service sectors. With more than a decade of industry experience, the organization has built a strong market presence and continues to invest heavily in business growth, customer acquisition, and operational innovation.

The organization maintains an established offshore team and is continuing to expand its remote workforce. This role will play a key part in supporting the adoption and integration of AI-powered solutions and process improvements across the broader business group.

Role Overview: We’re looking for a sharp, proactive AI Marketing Operations Specialist to join the team in Dumaguete. This is a hands-on, full-time role that sits at the intersection of marketing systems, CRM automation, and AI-powered lead workflows.

The right person will streamline how leads are captured, qualified, and actioned – and then identify further opportunities to integrate AI across the broader business.

If this person delivers, there’s a clear path to expand the scope across the group’s other businesses and build a team around them.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • CRM Automation & Lead Workflows
    • Set up automated lead capture, qualification, and follow-up workflows across Pipedrive, Close.com, and Basecamp
    • Build AI-driven sequences to contact and pre-qualify inbound leads, confirm contact details, and route them to the right team member
    • Identify duplication and inefficiencies across the three CRM systems and recommend consolidation or integration strategies
  • Marketing Operations
    • Support the optimisation of paid marketing spend across Meta and Google to improve lead quality and ROI
    • Manage and improve email marketing workflows, nurture sequences, and automated client communications
    • Monitor campaign performance and produce clear reporting on lead volume, cost per lead, and conversion rates
  • AI Integration
    • Identify opportunities across the business to deploy AI tools and agents (e.g. lead pre-qualification bots, automated reporting, content generation)
    • Stay current on emerging AI tools and proactively bring recommendations to the team
    • Build and document new AI-assisted processes so they can be handed off or scaled
  • Ongoing Operations
    • Work closely with the founding team and the Philippines business partner to roll out improvements
    •  Cross-train with existing team members in Dumaguete
    • Operate from the Dumaguete office – in-office presence preferred for compliance and team collaboration
