Our client is seeking 2 experienced Site Foreman to join the Graaff Reinet team, Oversee daily site operations and construction activities Supervise artisans, labourers, and subcontractors to ensure productivity and quality workmanship Allocate work tasks and monitor performance against project schedules Ensure construction activities comply with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements Coordinate site resources, equipment, and labour to achieve project milestones Identify and resolve site issues that may impact project delivery Ensure full compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and company safety policies Conduct daily toolbox talks and safety briefings Enforce the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) on site Identify hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks Report and investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses Inspect workmanship and ensure work is completed to the required quality standards Monitor materials and construction methods to ensure compliance with project specifications Supervise and motivate site teams to maintain high levels of productivity Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and workforce performance Monitor material usage and minimise wastage Assist with material planning and ordering Monitor project progress against programme schedules Maintain accurate daily site reports and records
Requirements Grade 12 Relevant trade qualification or construction-related certification. Minimum 5 years' construction industry experience. At least 2 years' experience in a Foreman or Supervisory role. Experience managing site labour and subcontractors. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Experience working on residential, commercial, industrial, or civil construction projects Valid drivers license
