Our client is seeking an experienced Driver to join the Port Elizabeth team, Safely operate company vehicle for the collection and delivery of raw materials, packaging products and finished goods Ensure on-time deliveries to customers, suppliers, and between company facilities Verify loads against delivery notes and ensure correct documentation (delivery notes, invoices, etc.) is completed Perform basic vehicle inspections and ensure vehicles are clean, roadworthy, and serviced timeously Comply with all traffic laws, health & safety regulations, and company procedures Manage and be hands-on with the loading and offloading materials when required Maintain a professional image when interacting with clients and suppliers
Requirements Grade 12 Valid driver’s license: Code 10 / Code 14 is essential Valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit) is essential Valid Forklift certification is essential Minimum 5 years driving experience in a manufacturing/logistics environment Clear driving record with no major accidents or infringements Must be of sober habits Knowledge of local routes in the area/ region Ability to handle basic paperwork and delivery documentation
