Senior Software Development Engineer in Test

We’re looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to join our Technology team and strengthen the quality engineering capabilities behind our payment ecosystem.
In this role, you’ll take end-to-end ownership of quality across frontend, backend, APIs, and payment transaction flows. You’ll help us detect risks earlier, build scalable automation, improve release reliability, and ensure critical payment journeys work seamlessly.
Responsibilities
Own end-to-end testing across frontend, backend, APIs, and payment transaction flows
Design, develop, and maintain automation for functional, integration, and regression testing
Validate payment journeys, Fund Flow integrations, and cross-service dependencies
Identify risks early through requirement analysis, impact assessment, and comprehensive test coverage
Investigate defects and production issues through debugging, log analysis, and root-cause investigation
Collaborate closely with developers, product teams, and engineering stakeholders
Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve test design, automation development, troubleshooting, and overall testing efficiency
Requirements
Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and STLC
Hands-on experience with web/mobile frontend testing, backend/API testing, and end-to-end automation
Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java or JavaScript/TypeScript
Experience with API testing, database validation, and integration testing
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated-testing frameworks
Experience using AI-assisted development or testing tools
Experience in fintech, payment gateways, digital wallets, banking, or transaction-based systems
Understanding of payment processing, Fund Flow, transaction lifecycles, or distributed systems
Experience with Appium, Maestro, REST Assured, or similar tools
Exposure to backend development or service integration
Interest in expanding beyond testing and developing broader full-stack engineering capabilities
