Casual Early Childhood Educator

Little Genius Cottage is a small early learning centre in Chifley, near Maroubra, known for its great team culture. We are currently seeking responsible and reliable Casual Early Childhood Educators to join our team. This role is ideal for students currently working towards their Certificate III in Early Childhood

Education and Care who want to gain practical experience while they study. As a Casual Educator, you will support the team in providing safe, nurturing and engaging care for children, covering shifts when permanent staff are on leave.

Key Responsibilities Support educators in delivering play-based learning programs. Supervise children and help keep them safe at all times. Assist with daily routines, including meal times, rest times and nappy changing/toileting. Build positive relationships with children, families and the team. Maintain a clean, safe and well-organised learning environment. Follow the centre's policies, procedures and the National Quality Framework.

Requirements Essential Criteria Currently studying towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood

Education and Care. Responsible, reliable and a positive attitude. Current Working With Children Check (WWCC). Photo ID. Certificate of Enrolment. Geckko Child Protection Training. Desirable Current First Aid and CPR Certificate. Required Documents Successful applicants will be required to provide their WWCC, ID, Certificate of Enrolment and Gecko prior to commencing.
