About the Role Our client, a leading manufacturer in the food processing industry, is seeking an experienced and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily factory operations. This role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high product quality standards, optimizing production processes, and fostering a safe and productive work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, experience supervising manufacturing teams, and a solid understanding of production planning, quality control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities 1. Production Supervision & Team Leadership • Supervise, coach, and support production staff to achieve daily production targets. • Prepare work schedules and allocate resources effectively. • Monitor employee performance and provide training and development where needed. • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and standard operating procedures (SOPs). 2. Production Operations Management • Plan, coordinate, and monitor daily manufacturing activities. • Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining efficiency and quality. • Adjust workflows and resource allocation to meet changing production demands. • Maintain accurate production tracking and performance records. 3. Quality Assurance • Ensure products consistently meet established quality standards and specifications. • Conduct routine inspections of production processes and equipment. • Investigate quality issues and implement corrective actions. • Promote adherence to quality management systems and food safety requirements. 4. Process Improvement • Identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and reduce waste. • Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize manufacturing processes. 5. Health, Safety & Compliance • Enforce workplace health and safety policies and procedures. • Conduct safety briefings and promote a strong safety culture. • Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations. • Report and follow up on incidents and corrective actions. 6. Reporting & Documentation • Maintain accurate production records and operational reports. • Track key production metrics and communicate performance to management. • Document production issues, downtime, and process changes.

Requirements

Qualifications • Bachelor's Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Food Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. • Relevant manufacturing experience may be considered in place of formal qualifications. • 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the food processing industry.
