Senior Accountant

JOB SUMMARY We are looking for a superstar Senior Accountant for the Au Family Office and to serve as a backup to the Senior Accountant at Redmint—a health and beauty company providing holistic wellness services supported by skincare and herbal remedy products. The successful candidate will enjoy working in an exciting, growing startup and performing a variety of accounting tasks beyond basic entry booking. Candidate must be highly analytical, understand the health and wellness industry, and excel in a high-pressure environment. RESPONSIBILITIES Family Office Support the Accounting Supervisor in managing personal investments across a wide portfolio of general partner funds, co-investment vehicles, and outside investment vehicles Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Assist in preparing analysis reports and quarterly personal financial statements Assist in the management of cash flows and liquidity Perform other duties and tasks as needed Redmint Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements Process payroll and support HR functions Reconcile fixed assets Maintain store inventory records Record intercompany transactions Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other tax reporting requirements Assist in budgeting and variance analysis Assist in management of cash flows and liquidity Prepare regular analysis and performance reports Participate in monthly financial review meetings with the Redmint CEO Perform other duties and tasks as needed SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong analytical skills and exceptional attention to detail Effective at prioritizing multiple projects with shifting deadlines Ability to operate in a fluid, fast-paced startup environment Self-motivated and responsible with a strong work ethic Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team Sound knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulations Highest level of discretion and confidentiality MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Non-Negotiable: Must have US accounting experience Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or equivalent work experience 3 to 5+ years of accounting experience Proficient in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Quick learner for new software and internet platforms CPA, real estate, and/or health/wellness industry experience is a plus
