About the role:
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Settlement Officer to join our team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the efficient execution of daily settlement activities, accurate reconciliation of accounts, and maintenance of financial records. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting payment processing with third-party providers, responding to customer cases, and preparing transaction remittances.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and process client deposits and withdrawals in a timely and accurate manner.
- Follow up on pending, delayed, rejected, or failed settlement transactions with internal teams and external PSPs.
- Perform daily reconciliation across CRM records, PSP portals, bank statements, digital wallet platforms, and internal settlement reports.
- Track PSP balances and escalate any potential funding shortages or abnormal balance movements.
- Support settlement execution across multiple payment methods, including fiat, e-wallets, bank transfers, local payment channels, and digital payment methods.
- Identify transaction discrepancies, investigate root causes, and coordinate with relevant teams to resolve issues.
- Communicate with PSPs, banks, internal operations, finance, compliance, and customer support teams when required.
- Maintain accurate settlement records, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with PSP onboarding, testing, transaction monitoring, and operational workflow improvement.
- Support weekend, public holiday, and extended-hour coverage based on roster requirements.
- Escalate high-risk or abnormal settlement cases according to internal SOPs.
- Ensure all settlement activities are handled with accuracy, confidentiality, and proper risk control.
